Hi guys,
Ayila here. Lux told me I should start keeping a journal of our situation, might come in handy later. So today I found a cute little faerieling. She's soooo cute! And friendly!! Her wings are beautifully formed, glowing a light blueish purple. I feel so bad though, I had to freeze her. Its for her own good! I don't want to freeze her, but we have to preserve as many species as we can. Those destructive humans kill with no remorse. They are a cruel, cruel people.
Alvia has not been in good shape lately. She has long winded tantrums, throwing magic around, screaming at the top of her lungs. Her mind is on emotional overload, I really do fear for her life. Us elves share emotion. When one of us is happy, the rest of us can feel it, tap into it even. But when the humans came... you can imagine the horrendous pain we felt when our people were destroyed at the hands of a virus manufactured to cause as much suffering as possible. Lux himself could not speak for about 3 months. Alvia raged in a tight little meditation cell for 5. I struggled day after day, helping Lux gather as many specimens as possible for preservation, but there were times when I wanted to rip the life out of nearby human scouts. I really almost did. It was a horrible feeling.
I think we're good now though, Lux and I. Alvia still struggles, but she's always been different. In class, back when Earth was at peace and in harmony, she was always being taken away for tests and examinations. Lux and the other teachers said it was just routine checkups for a rare, hereditary disease she had, but now, I think she may be something more. Something dark, scary, fearsome. I overheard Lux's conversation with the Galactic Alliance Remnant Council. He said Alvia will either be our solution, or our destruction. I wonder what she is.
Anyway, Alvia is calling me for a game of Philos and Theories, so I'll have to sign off for now.
See you!
~Ayila
